Mission Statement

The Wheelchair Foundation is a non-profit organization with a goal to provide a free wheelchair to every child, teen and adult worldwide who needs one, but has no means to acquire one.

The Silicon Valley Wheelchair Project is a local chapter of the Wheelchair Foundation engaged in raising funds towards this mission.  We've seen first hand how the gift of mobility changes the lives of individuals around the world.  Through local efforts we've delivered over 5,000 wheelchairs to individuals in Oaxaca, Peru, China, Bangladesh, Thailand, Slovenia, Nicaragua, Monterrey Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Cambodia and Mexico City.



Over 1.18M Wheelchairs Delivered

The foundation has been busy indeed, reaching 1.18 Million wheelchairs delivered worldwide as of September 2024.
